TIME FOR ANOTHER ROAD TRIP? 4 MORE OF BASEBALL’S BEST CITIES

A couple of months ago we posted our list of five baseball cities you simply must visit and you loved reading that blog. At the same time, the game of baseball is so steeped in lore that we were barely able to scratch the surface of every great city you could see during your travel nursing adventures.

So, with that in mind, we wanted to revisit this topic again and find some other cities — and franchises — that maybe you don’t know so much about. That’s why we’re expanding our list today to bring you four more baseball cities you simply must visit this year. Start planning your travel assignments around these cities today and you’ll be able to mix work and play all season long.

* Los Angeles. San Francisco was prominent in our previous list, and now it’s their southern neighbor’s turn. Home to the Los Angeles Dodgers — and just about anything else you could imagine — there’s plenty to do in LA. But let’s stick to baseball. Beautiful weather, amazing food — love those Dodger Dogs — and a team that has had some recent success all cater to the draw here.

* Philadelphia. Sports in the City of Brotherly Love are a close-knit group, with all the city’s stadiums nesting next to one another. For baseball’s Phillies, Citizens Bank Park is a wonderful place to take in a game and enjoy one of the city’s famous cheesesteak sandwiches. Just don’t expect a lot of elbow room, as the Phillies led Major League Baseball in attendance in 2017.

* Pittsburgh. To the west of Philadelphia, the steel city of Pittsburgh is also a great place to see a game. A seating capacity of just over 38,000 makes PNC Park a cozier environment to watch a game, but the waterfront view of the stunning city skyline can’t be beat.

* Minneapolis. There’s so much to do in the Twin Cities, and that includes taking in a game in one of the league’s newer stadiums — Target Field. Like Pittsburgh you’ll find plenty of stunning skyline views here, and the food inside the stadium is almost as good as the food in the city around it.

That's our list for today, so start your travel planning. Accept an assignment in any of these amazing cities and you won't regret the decision for a moment.
